Give Big Backyard Boogie

Give Big Backyard Boogie is presented by Bozeman Running Company to raise funds and awareness for local running organizations in the Gallatin Valley. The event charges a $20 registration fee and 100% of registration proceeds are split evenly among the participating clubs and organizations.

The event uses a short loop course that mixes gravel trail and asphalt, starting at MAP Brewing and taking runners around the pond and onto Glen Lake Rotary Park trails. Each completed loop earns a raffle ticket. Raffle tickets increase a participant's chance to win up to five grand prizes. Entry includes access to a fun run and a grill-out featuring burgers and drinks. The event is open to individuals who wish to run, walk, or jog at their own pace. Dogs are not allowed at the event or at Glen Lake Rotary Park.

Fundraising and donation collection occur during a window aligned with the Gallatin Valley GIVE BIG event. Registration and fundraising use online platforms, including RunSignUp for organizations not enrolled on the GiveBig platform.

Participating organizations include Bozeman Distance Project, Raptor Run Crew, Bozeman Track Club, Bozeman Run Club, Women in Ultrarunning Bozeman chapter, and Big Sky Wind Drinkers. These groups focus on youth support, community runs, track and field programs, increased female involvement in ultrarunning, scholarships, and other local running initiatives.
