The Galtymore Uphill is a mountain running event taking place in County Tipperary. The run has a 750 m climb over a distance of 6 km. It is part of the Munster Uphill League.

Mandatory Kit

All runners must bring Level B standard mandatory kit. The specific items required are a waterproof jacket, hat or buff, gloves, a whistle, a charged mobile phone with an emergency number stored, and a foil blanket, bivvy bag, or equivalent. The actual kit to be carried during the race will be finalized on the day based on conditions and advised at registration. Runners should have the means to carry all kit. The race is marked only at major junctions. The use of GPS devices is not allowed. The event difficulty is rated as 3 (1,1,1), described as easy terrain with less than 200 m ascent and less than 6 km, which conflicts with the listed climb and distance.
