Race details and requirements

Race marking: only major junctions will be marked. GPS devices are not allowed. The mandatory kit is Level B - Standard and all runners must bring a waterproof jacket, hat or buff, gloves, whistle, a charged mobile phone with the emergency number stored, and a foil blanket or bivvy bag (or equivalent). The final kit to be carried may be adjusted on the day depending on conditions and will be announced at registration. Runners should have the means to carry the required kit. Failure to carry required items may lead to denied entry or disqualification; random checks may be carried out.
