Tountinna Mountain Race

The Tountinna mountain running event takes place in County Tipperary. The course covers a distance of 10.00 km and includes a total climb of 500 meters. This event is part of the Coillte Summer/Autumn Trail League in Munster.

The race route features markings only at major junctions. Participants are not permitted to use GPS devices during the run. The event has an entry limit of 250 participants.

A 4.50 km uphill race to the summit of Moylussa in Ballycuggaran, Co. Clare, with 454 m of ascent. Part of the Munster Uphill League, the event has limited route marking, a Level B mandatory kit list, and a 250 runner limit.

Slievenamon Uphill in County Tipperary on 27 May 2026 is a 4.00 km uphill race with 576 m of ascent, part of the Munster Uphill League. Level B mandatory kit is required and entries are limited to 250 runners.

Trail races in Portumna Forest Park with 10K, half marathon, marathon and 50K options; walkers and wheelchairs welcome for participants over 18, and safety rules and cut off times apply for longer distances.

An open mountain uphill race to the top of Galty Mór on 10 June 2026 covering 6.00 km with 750 m of ascent. The route is unmarked, GPS is not allowed and runners must carry mandatory Level B kit.
