Full Moon 25k/50k

The Full Moon 25k/50k serves as the kickoff event for the AURA Ultra Trail Series. The race takes place within the Ouachita National Forest, utilizing a course composed of rolling Forest Service Roads. The start and finish area is located at Camp Ouachita Girl Scout Camp in Perryville, Arkansas.

Participants run during the night on a course characterized by hills and humidity. The event features fully stocked aid stations and a post-race meal including pancakes and bacon. Registration proceeds are donated to several organizations, including the Arkansas Crisis Center, the Arkansas Ultra Running Cross Country Fund, Faulkner County HAM, and Williams Junction FD.

Packet pickup occurs on-site starting two hours before the respective official race starts. A mandatory trail briefing is held for all participants 15 minutes prior to their start time. A community trail run and hike at Blue Mountain Natural Area in Roland, AR on May 2, 2026, featuring a 3-mile runner/walker, free registration, and post-activity tacos, coffee and mariachi.
