The Next Loop 50/50/100M Challenge - Pinnacle Mountain

The event offers four ultra-distance options on a repeated loop course at Pinnacle Mountain State Park, staged from the Old Visitor Center parking area with access to the Coachwhip Trail. The course uses an approximately 3.1 mile loop with clearly marked trails and a central Start/Finish hub where runners return each lap.

Distances:

  • 50 Mile Challenge (Day) - 12-hour cutoff
  • 50 Mile Night Challenge - 13-hour cutoff
  • 100 Kilometer Challenge - 30-hour cutoff
  • 100 Mile Challenge - 32-hour cutoff

A fully stocked central aid station at the Start/Finish provides water, electrolytes, and endurance-friendly nutrition and is accessible every loop. Personal crew access is permitted at a designated area near the hub. The event runs as continuous laps on the same course until each distance is completed; drop-down is allowed at any time.

Field size is limited to 30 total runners across all distances. Participants are asked to stay on marked trails, follow park rules, and practice leave no trace. Recommended items include a hydration system, headlamp or lighting for night participants, trail shoes for mixed terrain, and personal nutrition in addition to aid station support. Registration is managed through MoveMint. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
