The Next 100M Challenge - Pinnacle Mountain
The event offers multiple ultra distance options on a looped trail course at Pinnacle Mountain State Park. Staging, the Start/Finish, and the central aid station are located at the Big Maumelle Pavilion with direct access to the Coachwhip Trail system.
Runners complete repeated laps on a clearly marked single loop. The course mixes dirt trail and rolling terrain and returns each lap to the same central hub. The loop length is approximately 3.5 miles, and the central aid station is reached on every lap. The event uses a continuous running format where participants complete loops until they reach their chosen distance.
Distances offered:
- 50 Mile (Day) - 12 hour cutoff
- 50 Mile Night - 13 hour cutoff
- 100 Kilometer - 30 hour cutoff
- 100 Mile - 32 hour cutoff
The aid station at the pavilion is described as fully stocked with water, electrolytes, and endurance oriented nutrition. The pavilion provides shade and fans for the staging area. Personal crew access is permitted at a designated area near the Start/Finish. Field size is limited to 30 total runners across all distances. Drop down is allowed at any time.
Participants are asked to stay on marked trails, follow park rules, and leave no trace. Recommended gear includes a hydration system, trail shoes, a headlamp for night participants, and personal nutrition in addition to aid station supplies.
