Course, aid and logistics
Courses feature bluff views, creek crossings and waterfalls on trail terrain. Several aid stations will be on course offering water, electrolyte drinks and snacks; specific aid station mile marks are provided for each distance. For the 4 Mile there is water at the 2.4 mile mark. For the 15K aid stations are at about 5.3 and 7.4 miles. For the 30K aid stations are at about 5.3, 7.4, 10.6, 11.6 and 14.0 miles. The event is cupless; runners must use a hand-held bottle, pack or reusable cup. A reusable cup is available for purchase at checkout for $5.
Packet pickup is available at the RunningLane Store the day before the race and on race morning; the store address is 2407 Memorial Parkway SW Suite 1, Huntsville, AL 35801. The race shirt for the series is a tri-blend. Age groups are 0-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69 and 70+. The 30K has a hard cutoff of 5 hours and 30 minutes; the 4 Mile and 15K have very loose cutoffs. There are no refunds, deferrals or mailed shirts or medals.
