Event Details

The Frosty Forest 5k is scheduled for Saturday, December 19, 2026. It takes place in Roosevelt Forest at 700 Peters Lane in Stratford, Connecticut. The event is a trail run.

Awards and Amenities

The top three female and top three male finishers will receive awards. Every participant who completes the course gets a custom-designed finisher's medallion.

Post-race refreshments, including holiday cookies and hot chocolate, will be available from a sponsor. The main pavilion serves as an aid station.

Logistics

The parking lot at the forest is small. Participants are advised to park close, with larger vehicles using a side lot. There is no parking for RVs.

A portion of the event's proceeds will benefit several charities, including the Roosevelt Forest Commission, a Veterans Museum, and the Stratford Library.
