Course endpoints are set by mile markers on the trail: the 50 Mile reaches Hwy U (mile 25) and returns; the 50K reaches historic Graydon Springs (mile 15.5) and returns; the marathon reaches Ridgerunners Rest Stop (mile 13.1) and returns; the half reaches near N Farm Road 65 (mile 6.55) and returns; the 8K reaches Cotner's Corner and returns. Dogs and strollers are not allowed on the course.
Aid stations sit at miles 2.5, 5, 7.5, 10, 13, 15.5, 20, and 25; most stations provide water, electrolyte drink, soda, gels, and fruit, with possible extra items at miles 15.5, 20, and 25. Porta-potties are at the school parking lot and at aid stations except mile 2.5. Drop bags are allowed only for 50K and 50 Mile runners and are collected at the Willard Middle School lobby for transport to designated aid stations; gear check is available at the school and moved to the finish area after the races start. Age limits: 18+ for marathon, 50K, and 50 Mile; 13+ for the half. The start/finish and parking are at the middle school parking lot. The race is held in most weather conditions and will be delayed for nearby lightning. A shirt-size guarantee is tied to registration by April 12, 2025.
