The Hard Times Trail Run in Willard, Missouri, is known as the toughest footrace in Greene County. Held at Little Sac Woods Conservation Area, the event offers three distances: 8 miles, 25K, and 50K. The challenging 8-mile loop features over 1,000 feet of elevation gain with runnable sections, steep climbs, thrilling downhills, creek crossings, and briars, without any switchbacks.

The 25K and 50K races involve multiple laps with alternating directions. The race is limited to 60 runners and includes two aid stations. Participants receive shirts and finisher awards, with extra swag for 50K runners.
