Frisco Railroad Run
The event is scheduled for April 24, 2027 in Willard, Missouri, using the Frisco Highline Trail. It offers multiple distance options on a certified rail to trail course with fine crushed, hard packed gravel. The marathon course is USATF certified and is a Boston qualifier.
All distances are out and back on the same trail. Aid stations are located at miles 2.5, 5, 7.5, 10, 13, 15.5, 20, and 25, and provide water, electrolyte drink, soda, gels, and fruit; several stations have porta potties. Porta potties are also available at the school parking lot.
Distances offered:
- 50 Miles Willard to Hwy U (Mile 25 near Bolivar) and back
- 50K Willard to historic Graydon Springs (Mile 15.5) and back
- Marathon Willard to Ridgerunners Rest Stop (Mile 13.1) and back
- Half Marathon Willard to near N Farm Road 65 (Mile 6.55) and back
- 8K Willard to Cotner's Corner and back
Only 50K and 50 Mile runners may use drop bags; drop bag pickup locations are the aid stations at mile 15.5 and mile 25. Gear check is available at Willard Middle School and bags left there will be moved to the finish area after the races begin. The start and finish are in the middle school parking lot, which also provides parking.
Race rules note that dogs, strollers, pacers, and mueling are not allowed and may result in disqualification. Age minimums apply for longer distances.
