Frank McNamara Fall X-Country Series in Edmonton, AB

The Frank McNamara Fall X-Country Series is a set of seven cross-country races held in Edmonton from September 9 to October 21, 2026. Events take place at several parks and multi-use areas in the city, including Emily Murphy Park, Kinsmen Park, Fort Edmonton / Whitemud Park, Forest Heights Park and the Saskatchewan Drive / Belgravia multi-use area. Event locations are listed as tentative and may change.

Edmonton has more than 160 km of maintained multi-use trails; the course routing moves through the river valley and urban park areas. Race timing is managed by Results Canada Race Management using a ChronoTrack timing tag. Participants are responsible for bringing and maintaining their timing tag for the entire series; lost or damaged tags will be replaced for a flat fee of CA$5.00.

Listed fees show an individual race price of CA$18.24. A full series package for all seven events that includes Frank XC merchandise is listed at CA$99.03. If Alberta Health Services cancels the event, refunds or credits will not be available. Registered athletes unable to attend may roll their registration to the Spring 2027 series or transfer it to another athlete; otherwise registrations are final and non refundable.
