2026 Food for Others 5k & 10k

The event takes place on January 17, 2026, at Leesylvania State Park in Woodbridge, VA. Two race distances are offered:

The race benefits the charity Food for Others and awards points toward the organizer’s Year-Long 5k, 10k, and Back of the Pack Series, as well as the Winter Series. A virtual race option is available.

Event details and logistics

The course is a trail run with some pavement, small hills, and a small staircase. The 10k consists of two loops. The event is chip timed. Runners receive a finisher’s medal and a technical (drifit) event shirt; shirts are guaranteed for those registered before January 7. Registration fees listed include early rates through December 31; prices increase afterward and on race morning.

Water and Gatorade are provided at multiple locations along the course; exact stops may change. Restrooms are available in the building near the parking lot. Packet pickup is available at the event and race day registration is offered. A $10 park entrance fee is charged on entry. Parking is near the Fishing Pier at Leesylvania State Park (GPS pin 38.591129, -77.248400). Live results will be posted on Athlinks and final results with series points are posted the Monday after the race. Awards are given to top overall finishers and age-group placings.
