The Molon Lave 5k takes place on April 4, 2026 at Molon Lave Winery in Warrenton, VA. The main distance is 5k on a three-loop cross country course around the winery property. The course is described as fairly flat but with typical cross country terrain. Walkers are welcome. A virtual race option is available. Points from this event count toward the Year-Long 5k & Back of the Pack Series and the Sippin Series.

Logistics and services

Runners receive a glass from the winery select menu, a finisher’s medal, a technical (Dri-FIT) event shirt, and chip timing. The 5k registration fee is $35 until March 15, then $40; prices increase by $5 on race morning. T-shirts are guaranteed for registrations before March 25; extra shirts may be available afterward on a first-come, first-served basis. Packet pickup is available at the event; participants are advised to arrive about one hour before the event to check in. Race day registration is offered, with t-shirt sizes not guaranteed for day-of registrants.

Two water stations are planned at approximately mile 1 and mile 2; Gatorade will be available at some stations. Restrooms are inside the winery. Awards are given to the top three men and women overall and to first and second place in standard age categories; overall top-three finishers are not eligible for age-group awards.
