Flagstaff Doggie Dash & BuffaLoops Ultra : Buffalo Park, Flagstaff, AZ

This event offers multiple formats at Buffalo Park in Flagstaff, including fixed-time ultraloop races and a community 5k that allows dogs. Fixed-time races ask runners to complete as many two mile loops as possible within the allotted time, changing direction every two hours. Rules require completing full laps to count them and returning to the same point on the course if a runner leaves and later rejoins. Tangents may be used but loops may not be shortened. Group runners should leave an inside channel for faster runners.

The event also includes a free kids 1K fun run and a virtual 5k option. Virtual participants may run on a date of their choosing and submit a finishing time or Strava link for results consideration; virtual registration proceeds are donated to High Country Humane Society. A portion of on site registration fees will be donated to the same organization.

Course support includes an aid table near the park entrance stocked with water, electrolyte mix, snacks and basic supplies, plus first aid and on site medical staff. A designated drop bag area is provided and a tent or canopy may be set up upon request. Participants receive event photos and event specific merch varies by distance; t shirts are not included with the 5k registration. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
