This event at Buffalo Park in Flagstaff, AZ combines a community 5k Doggie Dash with fixed-time loop ultras. Distances offered include:

  • 12 hour fixed-time
  • 6 hour fixed-time
  • 3 hour fixed-time
  • Doggie Dash 5k with dogs allowed
  • Virtual Doggie Dash 5k with or without dog

The fixed-time races use an outer two mile loop. Runners complete as many two mile laps as they can in the allotted time and change direction every two hours. The 5k follows one counterclockwise loop of Buffalo Park plus a shorter one-mile loop before finishing where it started. A free kids 1K is offered with no registration required. A virtual 5k option lets participants run on their own date and time and submit results to be listed in results and raffle.

An aid station near the park entrance will offer water, electrolyte mix, snacks and basic items, and first aid will be available on site. A drop bag area and tent or canopy setup are available for personal use. Race swag includes professional photo downloads for all participants, event merch for 5k and fixed-time entrants, and limited dog bandanas for 5k entries with dogs.
