Firecracker 5K & 1 Mile Fun Run

The event takes place on Saturday, July 4, 2026. It offers two distances: a 5K and a 1 Mile run. The races start at Morningside Baptist Church in Huntsville, Alabama. The course uses the Aldridge Creek Greenway, featuring a simple out-and-back route with one aid station located at the turnaround point.

Packet pickup is available on Thursday, July 3rd at Fleet Feet Huntsville from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM. On race day, packet pickup is at Morningside Church from 6:00 AM to 6:45 AM. Child care is provided at the church from 6:45 AM to 9:00 AM.
