The Conquer the Cave 5K is a unique running event held at Cathedral Caverns State Park in Woodville, Alabama. The scenic course begins in a picturesque valley surrounded by mountains and fields, leading runners into a spectacular 0.6-mile out-and-back section inside one of the Southeast's most impressive caves. Runners receive glow sticks at the cave turnaround, with decorative lighting enhancing the underground experience.

The race accommodates multiple waves of 200 runners each due to cave size constraints. Participants enjoy a tri-blend race shirt and finisher medal, with a welcoming atmosphere for all skill levels, including walkers.
