Cathedral Caverns Trail Run
The Cathedral Caverns Trail Run is scheduled for November 14, 2026 at Cathedral Caverns State Park, 637 Cave Rd, Woodville, AL. The event is organized by RunningLane Events and offers two timed trail distances.

The course begins in a valley with mountains and fields visible in the background. The final 1.2 miles of each race run through the cave as a 0.6 mile out and back segment; runners pick up a glow stick at the turnaround and decorative lighting will be on inside the cave. The cave maintains a year round temperature near 58F. Typical race day temperatures average a low of 44F and a high of 67F.
This is a cupless race. Runners must carry a handheld bottle, pack, or reusable cup; a RunningLane reusable cup is available for purchase at checkout for $5. Aid stations on course will supply water, gatorade, coke, pretzels, M and M's and other items. Both the 5K and the 15K are capped at 300 entrants.
Cutoffs are enforced: the 5K cutoff is 1 hour 15 minutes (24:00 min/mi pace) and the 15K cutoff is 2 hours 30 minutes (16:40 min/mi pace). Packet pickup is available Friday, November 13 at the Running Lane store and on race morning at Cathedral Caverns parking area.
