New Balance RunningLane XC Championships : Huntsville, Alabama
The New Balance RunningLane XC Championships is a post season cross country meet held on December 5, 2026, at 2151 Airport Rd SW, Huntsville, AL 35801, United States. The event includes championship and community races with seeded fields; organizers may place athletes in specific races based on entry performance and seed times. Competition formats and eligibility include:
- 5K Championship races for boys and girls, open to grades 7 through 12.
- 5K Open community race; children under 10 should run with a parent or guardian.
- 2 Mile Youth race for 1st through 8th grade; club teams and individuals are eligible.
Championship 5K races may be separated into Gold, Silver, and Bronze races depending on entry numbers. The 2 Mile in 2026 is offered to club teams and will run all divisions together for this year; top individuals in specified age categories will receive awards. Individual and team awards are listed for several divisions. Races are scheduled as part of a single-day program at the Huntsville venue and some coverage of the meet may be available through live broadcast partners.
