Fall Running Series - Peninsula, OH

The Fall Running Series is a set of five weekly themed trail races held on Tuesday evenings in Cuyahoga Valley National Park on the following 2026 dates: September 29, October 6, October 13, October 20, and October 27. Each event takes place at a different park location around Peninsula, OH, and courses range from 3 to 5 miles.

Events for 2026 are scheduled at Pine Hollow, Howe Meadow, Kendall Lake, Oak Hill, and Camp Butler. Series participants receive a fleece hoodie, Feetures socks, a Nathan strobe light, and a finisher medal. Individual race participants select from a grab bag of swag. Donations collected benefit the Conservancy for Cuyahoga Valley National Park.

All levels of runners and walkers are welcome. Events are held regardless of weather. Participants who expect a moderate pace are advised to bring a flashlight or headlamp. Special permission allows participants to run or hike with dogs at the Camp Butler event.

Series scoring is automatic for participants. The first four races are counted for series points; the fifth race is timed but excluded from series scoring. Overall scoring uses a 50 point base by gender, and age group scoring uses a 10 point base by gender.
