The Buckeye Trail takes place on Sunday, June 28, 2026, in Brecksville and Peninsula, Ohio. The event offers the following distances:

The 50k has a listed entry fee of $90 and a 10-hour cutoff. The 25k has a listed entry fee of $70 and a 5-1/2-hour cutoff. The race is part of the Ohio Endurance Series and is described as the oldest trail 50k in the state of Ohio. Swag includes a triblend tee and a finisher medal. Donations collected at the event benefit the Crooked River Chapter of the Buckeye Trail Association.

The 50k finish area is at Oak Grove Picnic Area, Brecksville Reservation (GPS 41.30853, -81.60176). The 25k starts at Pine Lane Trailhead, 1281 Pine Lane, Peninsula, and is a point-to-point from Pine Lane to Oak Grove using the same trails as the 50k. Bus dropoff and parking are listed at the City of Brecksville Municipal Lot, 9069 Brecksville Rd, Brecksville, OH.

Awards are given to the top three overall male and female finishers and to the top three male and female finishers in five-year age groups from 24 & under through 70 & over.
