Run For The Hills Cross Country 5K & 1-Mile Family Walk

The second annual Run for the Hills Cross Country event takes place on July 19, 2026 at the Seven Hill Recreation Center in Seven Hills, Ohio. The event program includes a cross country 5K and a separate 1-Mile Family Walk.

The course uses a mix of surfaces: grass, gravel, a short wooded trail, and occasional all-purpose paved trail sections. There will be on-course entertainment and food and drink offerings as part of the concurrent Home Days event, including food trucks, beverages, and rides.

Registration details include a T-shirt guarantee for those who register by July 10. Online registration closes on July 19 and in-person registration is available the day before and the day of the event. T-shirts can also be purchased through the event store on the registration page.

Entry limits and fees are specified: the Cross Country 5K is capped at 140 registered participants, while the 1-Mile Family Walk has no participant limit. All fees, including those related to weather cancellations, are non-refundable. The event provides a finisher medal for family members who complete the walk.
