Run for the Hills Cross Country 5K and Family Walk
The Run for the Hills event takes place at the Seven Hills Recreation Center in Seven Hills, Ohio. This second annual athletic gathering is designed for various abilities and age groups, emphasizing community inclusivity. Participants can choose between two main activities:
- 5K cross country running race
- 1 Mile family walk
The course features multiple surfaces including grass, gravel, and a short wooded trail. Portions of the route also utilize all-purpose paved trails. Entertainment is provided during the race to accompany the participants as they move through the grounds of the Seven Hills Recreation Center.
Following the morning activities, the event transitions into the Home Days Event starting at midday. This portion of the day includes food trucks, various beverages, and rides. Registration for the event opens in early March, with specific fees designated for individual runners in the 5K and a flat rate for families participating in the 1 Mile walk.
