Evenstar Ultras

Evenstar Ultras is a timed trail running event held at Allen's Mountain in Shenandoah River State Park, Bentonville, VA. Participants choose a time block and complete as many 3.48-mile loops as they can within that period. Each loop includes about 670 feet of elevation gain and is run primarily on single-track trail with technical sections that include rocks, roots, and the possibility of two creek crossings. Frequent returns to the main aid station reduce the need to carry extensive gear.

• 12 hour event
• 6 hour event
• 3 hour event

The event provides a supported course and a main aid station offering water, electrolyte drinks, sodas, coffee, classic ultra snacks, and cooked warm food during the race. Each entrant receives race entry, course support access, a hoodie with the event logo, and a finisher award for completing at least one loop. Awards are given to the top three women and men in each time category, and a special award is planned for those who complete 100 miles.

Night running rules require participants in the 12 and 24 hour events to wear a headlamp or waist light once it gets dark and to carry backups as directed. The event is Trail Sisters Approved and includes a pregnancy and postpartum deferment or refund policy for participants up to 12 months postpartum. Registration closes on Oct 5 at 11:59PM ET.
