Woodstock Warrior
Woodstock Warrior is a looped trail event held at Seven Bends State Park near Woodstock, VA. The course uses a roughly 10 mile loop of mixed terrain that includes gravel roads, two-track dirt roads, and some single-track trail, with about 1600 ft of elevation gain per loop.
Distances offered include:
- 100 mile
- 50 mile
- 50k
- Last Man Standing Ruck
- 10 mile
Time cutoffs are enforced by distance: the 10 mile distance has a 4-hour cutoff; the 50k has a 10-hour cutoff and requires making the 10 mile cutoff to continue; the 50 mile has a 15-hour cutoff and requires meeting prior cutoffs; the 100 mile has a 33-hour cutoff and requires meeting prior cutoffs. The Last Man Standing Ruck has no standard cutoffs but requires starting the final lap before the 25-hour mark; if multiple participants finish the same distance, most miles determines the winner.
Pacer rules vary by distance: pacers are not allowed for the 10 mile and 50k fields; 50 mile and 100 mile participants may pick up pacers after their third loop. Pacers must ensure their own safety and may not physically assist or carry a runner’s gear.
Other details: finishers of the 100 mile receive buckles and other finishers receive medals; awards are given to top finishers. The event is cupless; participants should bring their own hydration vessel. The organizer is a Veteran-led group with 60+ years of leadership experience and supports local charities. The T-shirt deadline is 8/21/26. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
