Woodstock Warrior

The Woodstock Warrior is a running event held at Seven Bends State Park in Woodstock, Virginia. The course is a loop of approximately 10 miles on mixed terrain, including gravel roads, two-track dirt roads, and some single-track trail. Each loop features about 1600 feet of elevation gain.

The event offers several race distances:

  • 100 Miler (33-hour cutoff)
  • 50 Miler (15-hour cutoff)
  • 50k (10-hour cutoff)
  • 10 Miler (4-hour cutoff)
  • Last Man Standing Ruck (no cutoff, but the final lap must start before the 25-hour mark)

Participants must meet specific cutoff times at each distance to continue. The 50-mile and 100-mile participants may use pacers after completing three loops, but pacers are not allowed for the 10-mile or 50k distances. This is a cup-less event, so runners must bring their own hydration vessel.

Awards include buckles for 100-mile finishers and medals for all other finishers. Top finishers in each distance also receive awards. The event is organized by GOAT Trail Running, a veteran-led organization. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
