Woodstock Warrior
Woodstock Warrior is a trail running event on September 19, 2026 at Seven Bends State Park near Woodstock, VA. The course is a loop of approximately 10 miles over mixed terrain, including gravel roads, two-track dirt roads and some single-track trail. Each loop has about 1,600 ft of elevation gain.
The event offers multiple race distances:
- 100 Miler
- 50 Miler
- 50k
- Last Man Standing Ruck
- 10 Miler
Cutoffs are defined by distance. The 10-mile distance has a four hour cutoff; the 50k has a ten hour cutoff and requires meeting the 10-mile cutoff to continue; the 50-mile has a 15 hour cutoff and requires meeting prior cutoffs to continue; the 100-mile has a 33 hour cutoff and requires meeting prior cutoffs to continue. The Last Man Standing Ruck has no cutoffs but participants must start the final lap before the 25 hour mark. If more than one participant finishes the Last Man Standing event, the competitor with the most miles is ranked ahead.
Pacers are not allowed for the 10-mile or 50k. For the 50-mile and 100-mile, pacers may join after a runner completes their third loop; pacers must ensure their own safety and may not provide physical assistance or carry a runner’s gear. Runners who drop must declare at one of two aid stations; no retrieval is provided for mid-course drops unless there is a medical emergency.
Finishers receive awards: 100-mile finishers receive buckles, other finishers receive medals, and awards are given to top finishers in each distance. This is a cup less event; participants should plan their own hydration vessels. The event is organized by G.O.A.T. Trail Running, a veteran-led organization that supports local charities. More details will be emailed to participants closer to race day. T-shirt order deadline is 8/21/26. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
