Woodstock Warrior
The Woodstock Warrior is an ultrarunning event organized by G.O.A.T. Trail Running at Seven Bends State Park in Woodstock, VA. The course is a loop of approximately 10 miles on mixed terrain, including gravel roads, two-track dirt roads, and some single-track trail.
Each loop has about 1600 feet of elevation gain. Runners complete repeated loops to cover the event distances. The event includes timed cutoffs for each distance and requires completion of prior cutoffs to continue to longer distances.
Distances:
- 100 Miler
- 50 Miler
- 50k
- Last Man Standing Ruck
- 10 Miler
Cutoffs are set by distance. Examples include a 4 hour cutoff for the 10 mile and a 33 hour cutoff for the 100 mile. The 50k and 50 mile require meeting earlier cutoffs to continue into the next distance. The Last Man Standing Ruck has no standard cutoffs but requires starting a final lap before a specified hour limit.
Pacer rules vary by distance. No pacers are allowed in the 10 mile or 50k. Pacers for 50 mile and 100 mile may join after the third loop and must not provide physical assistance or carry a runner s gear.
Dropping from the race must be declared at one of two aid stations unless there is a medical emergency. Finishers of the 100 mile receive buckles and other finishers receive medals. The event is cup less; participants should bring their own hydration vessel or use community cups. T shirt order deadline is 8/21/26. More details will be emailed to participants before the event.
