Woodstock Warrior

Woodstock Warrior is a trail endurance event held at Seven Bends State Park in Woodstock, VA. The event features multiple race formats on a roughly 10 mile loop and includes timed cutoffs for several distances.

The looped course combines mixed terrain: gravel roads, two-track dirt roads and some single-track trail. Each loop includes approximately 1600 feet of elevation gain. The course layout is repeated for longer distances and timed events.

Distances and cutoffs:

  • 10-mile: 4-hour cutoff
  • 50k: 10-hour cutoff; must make the 10-mile cutoff to continue
  • 50-mile: 15-hour cutoff; must meet all prior cutoffs to continue
  • 100-mile: 33-hour cutoff; must meet all prior cutoffs to continue
  • Last Man Standing Ruck: no cutoffs; must start final lap before the 25-hour mark

Pacer rules vary by distance. Pacers are not allowed for the 10-mile or 50k. Pacers for the 50-mile and 100-mile may join after the third loop and must ensure their own safety; pacers may not physically assist runners or carry runners' gear.

Runners who withdraw must declare the drop at one of two aid stations; there is no routine mid-course retrieval unless a medical emergency occurs. Finish awards include buckles for 100-mile finishers and medals for other finishers. The event operates without disposable cups; participants are expected to provide their own hydration vessel. T-shirt order deadline is 8/21/26.

The event organizer is G.O.A.T., a veteran-led organization that supports local charities and community programs. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
