Woodstock Warrior
Woodstock Warrior is a trail running event at Seven Bends State Park in Woodstock, Virginia. The course is a roughly 10 mile loop on mixed terrain, including gravel roads, two-track dirt roads, and some single-track trail. Each loop gains about 1600 feet.
Distances offered include a range of timed and untimed formats:
- 100 Miler
- 50 Miler
- 50k
- Last Man Standing Ruck
- 10 Miler
Cutoff structure is sequential: runners must meet earlier distance cutoffs to continue to longer distances. Published cutoffs are 4 hours for the 10 mile, 10 hours for the 50k, 15 hours for the 50 mile, and 33 hours for the 100 mile. The Last Man Standing Ruck has no routine cutoffs but requires starting the final lap before the 25 hour mark; if more than one competitor finishes, the most miles wins.
Pacer rules differ by distance. Pacers are not allowed for the 10 mile or 50k. Pacers for the 50 mile and 100 mile may join after the third loop and must ensure their own safety; they cannot provide physical assistance or carry a runner's gear.
Other notes: dropping out must be declared at one of two aid stations unless there is a medical emergency. Finish recognitions include buckles for 100 mile finishers and medals for other finishers. The event is cup less, and a T shirt deadline is listed as 8/21/26. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
