Event overview

The Essex Vets XC Championships will take place on 13 December 2025 in Epping Forest, at the corner of Rangers Road and Forest Side, Chingford. All races use the same 8k course. There are three races planned: Men V50+, Women V40+, and Men V40. Individual medals will be awarded in five-year age categories up to and including V70. Team medals will be awarded in ten-year age categories for V40, V50, and V60 only, with four to score per team.

Entries, rules and results

Entries are online only; there will be no entries on the day. Entries close at midnight on Sunday 7th December. The entry fee is £8 per runner. Chip timing will be used and results will be provided after the race. The event is held under UKA Rules. All athletes must be members of England Athletics with current athlete registration and must be eligible to compete for Essex by birth or by having continuously resided in Essex for the nine months prior to the event. Entrants agree to be bound by the UKA Anti-Doping Rules, which apply for 12 months from the date of entering.
