Event

The Eggcellent Easter Orange Run is the first day of a five-day running series held in Runnymede at Wraysbury Skiff and Punting Club, Riverside, Egham TW20 0AA. The event is a 7-hour Time Challenge that allows participants to choose how far they run within the time limit. The event is open to walkers and runners and includes a membership option; a reduced entry price is available to members. Entry fees range from £18 to £35 depending on distance.

Course and distances

The course runs along a stretch of the River Thames. It is fully signed and is approximately 60% on well-made path or tarmac, with the remainder on grass and light trail that can get muddy. A lap measures 4.37 miles (7 km) but may be changed to a 3.28 mile loop depending on course conditions. The event includes 3 km and 5 km turn points within the lap.

Available distances:

  • 3 km
  • 5 km
