Ashridge Boundary Run

The Ashridge Boundary Run is an annual trail race held on 28 March 2026 around the boundary of the Ashridge Estate. The 2026 route is run in an anti clockwise direction on well marked paths and is approximately 17.5 miles over varied trail and off road terrain. The only deviation from the official boundary route is a climb to the top of Ivinghoe Beacon. The event is staged with the permission of the National Trust and a donation from each entry will be made to the National Trust. The organisers also support local causes including the Aldbury Community Defibrillator Project and other charities.

Entry is handled through an online entry system and an administration fee is applied to each entry. Entry fees are listed as £21.50 for affiliated club runners and £22.50 for non affiliated runners. Race numbers are made available for collection on the day and entries may be accepted on the day if the race is not full. Water in cups will be provided, every entrant receives a finisher gift, and prizes are awarded to the top male and female finishers. Toilets are available at the start and finish and there are no showers.

In periods of adverse weather the route may be changed at the request of the National Trust or, in the worst case, the event may be cancelled. In the event of cancellation refunds or deferral of entries will not be offered. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
