Event Overview

The Ashridge Boundary Run is a 17.5-mile trail running event taking place in March. The course follows a marked trail around the Ashridge Estate, run with permission from the National Trust. A donation is made to the National Trust from each entry fee.

Course Details

The race runs in an anti-clockwise direction on the boundary trail route. The terrain is varied trail and off-road. The only deviation from the official boundary route is that entrants will go to the top of Ivinghoe Beacon. The start and finish location is the Aldbury Recreation Ground, off Stocks Road in Aldbury.

Participant Information

Water is provided for runners, and every entrant receives a finishers gift. Prizes are awarded to the top male and female finishers. Toilets are available at the start/finish area. No showers are available.

Entrants are urged to study the route on the event website before the event. In the event of bad weather, route changes or cancellation may be necessary at the request of the National Trust. A 10 km two lap trail race in Epping Forest, Chingford on 29 March 2026. The undulating multi terrain course is chip timed, has a water station at 5 km and distance markers each kilometre, and awards a finisher medal.
