Course and conditions

The route follows the Ashridge Boundary Trail around the Ashridge Estate and will be run in an anti-clockwise direction. The course is approximately 17.5 miles over varied trail and off-road terrain. The only planned deviation from the official boundary route is that entrants will go to the top of Ivinghoe Beacon. The race is held with the permission of the National Trust and a donation to the National Trust will be made from each entry fee. Organisers note that route changes or cancellation may be required in poor weather, and in the event of cancellation refunds or deferrals will not be offered.

Entry and facilities

Entry fees are shown as £21.50 for affiliated club runners and £22.50 for non-affiliated runners; an administration fee is added by the online entry system partner. England Athletics, Welsh Athletics, and Scottish Athletics membership numbers can be used to apply the affiliated discount during registration. Water is provided on course, a finisher gift is given to every entrant, prizes are awarded to the top male and female finishers, toilets are available at the start/finish, and no showers are provided.
