EpicTrails offers a guided, social trail run of approximately 8 km that explores local routes starting from Milngavie Train Station and passing along the Clyde Coastal Path, sections of the West Highland Way and other nearby trails. The event has a total of 14 places.
A qualified, experienced, insured and first aid trained guide leads the run. These are social runs rather than races; participants will regroup at points along the route, no one is left behind, and pace will vary depending on the distance and route. Group size will be managed to help ensure safety.
Dogs and participants under 18 are not permitted because of insurance restrictions. Mandatory kit will vary by route and season and will be detailed in the run brief; trail shoes are always required. No kit equals no run.
The runs are not for profit. Money raised will first cover event costs and any remainder will be donated to a local charity on a periodic basis. Refunds are only issued if requested and no refunds are given for cancellations with less than 24 hours notice. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
