EpicTrails 10km - Exploring trails by head torch

The event takes place on 20 November 2025 and features a 10 km trail run starting from Milngavie Train Station (G62 8PG). The route explores local trails including the Clyde Coastal Path and parts of the West Highland Way, using a head torch for navigation. The activity is organised as a social group run rather than a race.

A qualified, experienced guide who is insured and first aid trained will lead the run. Runners will regroup at various points and no one is left behind; pace will vary with distance and route type. Group sizes are kept manageable to support safety.

Entry, kit and rules

Entry cost is £3.00. A service fee of 4% (minimum 50p) applies to each sign-up. The event lists a total of 14 places and the status is open. Refunds are given only if requested and no refunds are issued with less than 24 hours notice.

Dogs and under 18s are not permitted due to insurance restrictions. Mandatory kit is specified in the run brief and always includes trail shoes and a head torch; participants without required kit will not be allowed to run. The runs operate not for profit: funds cover costs and any remainder is donated to a local charity periodically. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
