The course runs inside Emerald Bay State Park, a protected area of about 1,830 acres with rocky and sandy shoreline, varied conifer species, and scenic viewpoints such as Rubicon Point and Eagle Falls. Event services listed include packet pick up, an event T-shirt, finishing medal, free digital race photo, recovery snacks and cold beverages, medical staff, and a shuttle back to the start. Parking is available at Eagle Point Campground; an event shuttle runs from the finish area to the start. Participants may also park at D.L. Bliss for a fee and arrange their own transport.
