Elevate 5k & 12 Hour Race - Santa Maria, CA
The event takes place on February 13-14, 2026 at the First Baptist Church campus, 2970 Santa Maria Way, Santa Maria, CA 93455. It features two main events and raises funds for the Elevate missions project.
The program includes:
- 5k - three loops of a 1.036-mile course.
- 12 Hour Race - repeated 1-mile loops with a minor course adjustment from the 5k layout.
Course and support details are specific to each event. The loop is entirely on the First Baptist / VCA campus. During the 5k, volunteers will be positioned along the course and finishers receive celebratory ice cream sandwiches; water, Gatorade and bananas are available during the 5k. Twelve hour participants have access to a variety of hot and cold drinks and solid food, and a designated area near the start/finish for rest and gear. The 12 hour course includes an unlit back portion where a headlamp or flashlight is recommended.
Entry fees listed for the event are $22 for the 5k and $45 for the 12 hour race. There is no minimum distance requirement for the 12 hour race; the participant who completes the most loops is the winner. Awards are provided for the events.
