La Cuesta Ranch Trail Run takes place at La Cuesta Ranch near San Luis Obispo, CA. The event uses 100% dirt trail and ranch roads and features views of West Cuesta Ridge. The start and finish area is staged at the historic ranch barn.

- 10 km one loop
- 20 km two loops
- 30 km three loops
The 10 km loop is described as counter clockwise with Elev Gain / Loss 2000 ft, -2002 ft. Reported slopes: Max Slope 40% 154% and Avg Slope 10% -12%. Cutoffs are applied at three hours per loop.
On-course support includes a well marked course and fully stocked aid stations approximately every three miles. Aid station supplies include prepackaged foods, water, and Hammer Nutrition products. Registration includes a custom tee shirt, special awards for top male and female in each distance, and a custom award for all finishers. The organizer states there are no refunds or deferrals for this event.
Onsite camping is available Friday night for a per vehicle fee payable on arrival at Miossi Barn. Camping is primitive and dry, first come with no reservations; portable and fixed restrooms are provided and open fires are not allowed.
