The course is 100% dirt on ranch roads and single track, built from two one-way 10-mile loops that meet at the center. Runners have vehicle access every 10 miles. Loop details: Loop 1 is about 10 miles with +2100 ft gain and marked with pink ribbon; Loop 2 is about 10 miles with +1600 ft gain and marked with yellow ribbon. Ribbons in other colors indicate turns or wrong directions. No dogs are allowed on course.
Support and amenities vary by race option but include marked course, aid approximately every 5 miles, onsite camping, custom bibs, souvenir shirts, and finisher awards. Chip lap counting is provided for multi day and 100-mile entries. Some events do not allow pacers. A ranch fee of $10 per person per day applies and is payable in cash at check-in. Guest day passes are available and sold by day. The organizer states there are no refunds, transfers, or deferrals and the event may be amended or canceled for safety or permitting reasons.
