Born to Run is a multi-day trail running event operated by AllWeDoIsRun and scheduled for the week of May 12–16, 2027 at a ranch near Los Olivos, California. Event capacity is limited to the first 300 registered participants and guests.
Distances and formats include:
- Four day 96 hour runner with 100 and 200 mile buckles
- Three day 72 hour runner with 100 mile buckle option
- 100 mile runner with 100 mile buckle within 48 hours
- 30 mile runner three 10 mile loops
- 20 mile runner two 10 mile loops
- 10 mile runner one 10 mile loop
Included for most entries are onsite camping, a marked course, aid stations roughly every 5 miles, chip lap counting, a souvenir shirt, custom bib, and finisher awards. The four day format also offers a 200 mile buckle and awards for top male and female based on most laps.
Course details: the route is 100% dirt on ranch roads and single track, arranged as two one-way 10 mile loops that meet at the center with vehicle access every 10 miles. Loop 1 has about +2100 ft gain and is marked with pink ribbon, Loop 2 about +1600 ft marked with yellow ribbon; striped ribbons indicate turns and blue indicates wrong way. No dogs are allowed on course.
Fees and policies: published runner fees vary by event type. A ranch fee of $10 per person per day is payable at check-in in cash. Guest day passes provide 24 hour ranch access for a stated daily cost. The organizer states strictly no refunds, no transfers, and no deferrals.
