Born to Run Ultra Marathons is a multi day trail event on ranch property near 4155 Figueroa Mountain Road, Los Olivos, California, scheduled for May 12–16, 2027. Event capacity is limited to the first 300 registered participants and guests. Registration closes May 16, 2027.
Race formats include multiple multi day and single distance options:
- 4 Day / 96 Hour option, 100 and 200 mile buckles available
- 3 Day / 72 Hour option, 100 mile buckle available
- 100 Mile finish within 48 hours option
- 30 Mile three 10 mile loops
- 20 Mile two 10 mile loops
- 10 Mile one 10 mile loop
All entries include marked course, aid stations approximately every 5 miles, and souvenir shirt, custom bib, and finisher awards. Multi day formats use chip lap counting and allow onsite camping. Self crewing from a vehicle is permitted; pacers are not allowed for the 10, 20, and 30 mile races.
Course surface is 100 percent dirt on ranch roads and single track. Two one way 10 mile loops meet at the center; Loop 1 is about +2100 ft gain and Loop 2 is about +1600 ft gain. Ribbons mark turns and wrong ways. Dogs are not allowed on course.
A ranch fee of $10 per person per day is payable in cash at check in. Guest Day Passes are sold per day and provide ranch access; no refunds, transfers, or deferrals are allowed.
