Dusk to Dawn 6/12 : GoodRunnings

The Dusk-to-Dawn 6/12 is a time-based ultra event held on a riverside loop near Glenelg. The loop is an AIMS-certified 2.56464 km and runs along the river and adjacent beach, with palm trees lining parts of the course. The event is AURA-listed, AIMS-certified, and IAU labelled.

The course direction rotates every three hours and participants are turned around every three hours. One aid station is located at the start/finish of each loop and is passed every 2.56464 km. The aid station supplies water, sports drink, soft drink, snacks, lollies, ice, zooper doopers, food, and first aid.

The start/finish line is at the end of Anderson Ave, down the street from Glenelg Baseball Club, where ample parking is available. The loop sits a few hundred metres from the main Glenelg area and is accessible by public transport. Bib collection is available on the day only, beginning shortly before the event, and a race briefing takes place shortly before the event start. A simplified ESL race briefing is offered for participants who prefer slower and clearer instructions.

Complimentary finisher medals and a memento are provided to all participants; personalization of the medal or memento is available for an additional cost. Five dollars from each registration is donated to Northern Adelaide Domestic Violence Services. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
