Dusk to Dawn 6/12

The Dusk to Dawn 6/12 is a dusk to dawn time-based ultra conducted on a short riverside loop near Glenelg. The certified loop measures 2.56464 km (AIMS-certified) and runs beside the river with views of a nearby harbour, a riverside sand beach and palm trees. The course direction rotates every three hours; participants are turned around at those intervals.

One aid station is located at the start/finish of the loop and is passed every 2.56464 km. The aid station provides water, sports drink, soft drink, snacks, lollies, ice, zooper doopers and first aid. Chip timing is used with a timing mat and vertical antenna for backup, and two video cameras record footage for timing verification.

Bib collection is available only on the day, beginning 30 minutes before the event start, and a race briefing begins 15 minutes before the start. A simplified race briefing for participants who prefer slower speech and simpler language is offered.

The event is AURA-listed, AIMS-certified and IAU labelled. Complimentary finisher medals and a memento are available to participants; personalization services are offered for an additional cost. Transfers are allowed up to one week before the event at the cost of any price difference plus an administration fee. Cancellations more than 28 days before the event are refundable minus an administration fee; cancellations within 28 days are generally non-refundable unless refund protection was purchased. GoodRunnings supports a local domestic violence service with a donation from registrations.
