Dusk To Dawn

Dusk To Dawn is a 12-hour endurance running event held at the Bridgend Miniature Railway in South Wales. This event focuses on completing as many laps as possible within a 12-hour time limit, beginning at dusk and concluding at dawn. Participants must be 18 years or older to enter.

The event features a course consisting of multiple 10-mile loops. Runners may be required to navigate two or three different routes during the 12-hour period. For each completed loop, participants visit a central base camp to have their card stamped and receive instructions for the next section.

The terrain is mixed and includes various features such as:

  • Forest trails with technical downhill sections
  • Steep hills
  • Limited road sections

The course is fully marked with flags and glow sticks to assist with navigation in the dark. Participants are encouraged to follow the physical markings rather than relying solely on GPX data due to potential signal variations in the area.

Facilities at the event include car parking, toilet facilities, and medical support. Participants have access to hot and cold drinks as well as snacks throughout the night. Registration is strictly limited to 30 runners, and entries include a medal and a swag bag upon completion. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
