Druridge Bay 5K & 10K Trail Runs

The Druridge Bay trail runs take place on Saturday 12 June 2027 at Druridge Bay Country Park, Red Row NE61 5BX on the Northumbrian coastline. The event uses a mix of paths, inland trails and beach running with marked routes for each distance.

VO2Max Racing Events is partnering with Hospice Care North Northumberland for the 10K. Hospice Care North Northumberland provides free specialist support for adults aged 18 and over and their families who face life limiting illness, including hospice at home palliative care, dementia care and support, and family and bereavement services.

The event is canicross friendly and allows one controlled dog per runner. Registration opens October 2026. Route maps and an event information pack are provided by the organiser.

Included event services comprise a fully marked course, an aid station, live chip timing and live online results, marshals on the trail, finish line merchandise, event photography, a finisher's medal and an event team present on site. A 10K trail race at Northumberlandia on 18 July 2026 using the landform and surrounding countryside, with a one mile children's fun run, a water station, bespoke finisher medals and an event village with café and stalls.

A flat, two lap five mile trail race in Ashington on 21 July 2026 with an entry limit of 125, affiliated and unaffiliated pricing, prizes and finisher gifts.

A marshalled, approximately 14 mile coastal race from Beadnell Harbour to Alnmouth Estuary on 26 July 2026 with a three hour 30 minute cut-off and a 1000-runner limit. Bus transfers and T-shirt options must be booked by 14 June 2026.

A seven mile trail through Ingram Valley that visits ancient hillforts and offers views of the Cheviot Hills. The course is fully marked and registration and race numbers are handled at Ingram Village Hall; dogs are not permitted.
