The Drink MO Wine Run offers multiple distances through historic Augusta and nearby trails. Distances available include:
- 1 Mile
- 5K
- 10K
- Half Marathon
The course begins in the hilly, historic streets of Augusta and then continues onto the Katy Trail for flatter miles. The 5K and 10K return from the Katy Trail to finish in Augusta. Half marathon participants follow the Katy Trail and then enter Klondike Park to run wooded park trails before returning to Augusta to finish.
Pre-event packet pickup is scheduled for May 1, 2026, at SBR Bikes & Brews, 17089 North Outer 40 Road Units 137 & 138, Chesterfield, MO. Photo ID is required for packet pickup and athletes may pick up packets for others. The race day venue and finish area is Mount Pleasant Winery, 5634 High Street, Augusta, MO. Parking is available at Mount Pleasant Winery and at the Augusta Trailhead lot, with trolley service provided between parking and the start/finish area.
Registration includes event swag for early registrants: a blanket to the first 600 registrants, a wine cup to the first 500 registrants, a finisher medal, a passport to Augusta Wine County, live race results, race photos, awards, and a post-race party with live music, food and drinks. The last day to register to guarantee race swag is April 4, 2026. Aid stations will provide water and an electrolyte drink.
Awards are given to top overall and age-group finishers; the top overall finishers receive additional prizes from a vineyard. Race cutoffs apply: 3.5 hours for the half marathon and 2 hours for the 1 Mile, 5K, and 10K. Dogs are not permitted on the course except for service animals as defined by the ADA with prior notice. There are no refunds, transfers, or deferrals; race management may cancel, alter, or shorten the event for safety. Photographs may be taken and used for event promotion. Spectator amenities include seating, yard games, food vendors, and a sign-making craft table for children; paid spectator tickets are available.
