Event details

The venue is Fox River Park, picnic area #3 (W264 S4500 River Road, Waukesha). The start and finish are adjacent to picnic area #3. Parking requires a Waukesha County Parks daily permit ($7) or an annual membership sticker; daily permits can be paid online the day of the event or within four days afterward. Race packet pickup is available at check-in at picnic area #3.

Race day includes registration and check-in, an opening ceremony, the run start with the walk following runners, and an award ceremony and tribute. Timing uses chip start; live results are posted on 5Kevents.org and results are final after a 48-hour review period. There is a fundraising option: raising $200 via the fundraising option credits the registration fee back to the entrant and directs funds to the student scholarship fund. Refunds are not permitted. Awards include a gold medal for the top female and male who are Heritage Christian alumni or current students, plus first, second, and third place medals by gender.
