Warrior 5K & 8K Through The Park

The event offers several timed runs and a walking option on a mixed-surface course inside the park at 2028 S 124th Street, Picnic Area 3A, West Allis, WI 53227. The course begins at the park's southwest corner and rises gradually toward the north before returning toward the start on tree-lined trails.

Runners follow a route that includes a stretch along a service road, with the first mile located at the back end of the parking lot. The middle section continues through woods on rolling trails, with mile two at a fork in the path. The final 1.2 miles largely mirrors the opening section and includes open spaces that allow for passing.

Surfaces include trail segments, a service road, and areas of rough footing in the woods. Terrain is generally rolling rather than flat, and trail conditions may vary. Seasonal foliage is visible along wooded sections in the fall.
