Dirty Spokes Off The Grid - Red Top Roaster

The event is the 14th annual Red Top Roaster trail run at Red Top Mountain State Park in Cartersville, Georgia on July 25, 2026. It is part of the Dirty Spokes Off The Grid Trail Run Series and is presented by Chateau Elan. Registration is online and the field is capped at 325 participants. Parking at the park requires a $5.00 fee per car or a yearly state park pass. The organizer plans to offer a tri-blend race shirt, but shirts are not guaranteed for late or race-day registrants.

Course and awards

The race starts and finishes at the Lodge parking area and uses park trails including Sweet Gum Trail, Homestead Trail, Campground Trail, Iron Hill Trail, and Visitor Center Loop Trail. The terrain includes rolling hills, double track, and minimal roots and rocks; the organizer describes the running surface as forgiving. The 3.1-mile course has two water stations (.65 and 1.85 miles). The 8.85-mile course has five water stations (.65, 1.85, 3.30, 6.45, 7.65 miles).

Medals and prizes will be given to the overall top three male and female finishers for each distance. Medals will also be awarded to the top three male and female finishers in each age group (14 & Under; 15–19; 20–24; 25–29; 30–34; 35–39; 40–44; 45–49; 50–54; 55–59; 60–64; 65–69; 70–74; 75 & Over). Finishers must be present to receive medals. Walkers may participate but must complete the distance at a 16 minute per mile pace or faster to receive an official time.
