Red Top Roaster Trail Run at Red Top Mountain State Park

The Red Top Roaster is a trail race held at Red Top Mountain State Park in Cartersville, Georgia. The event offers two distance options and runs primarily on park trails including Sweet Gum Trail, Homestead Trail, Iron Hill Trail and the Visitor Center Loop. The terrain includes rolling hills, double track, and generally forgiving running surfaces with minimal roots and rocks.

Entry is capped at 325 participants due to parking limitations and trail capacity. Georgia State Parks requires a $5 parking fee per car or the use of a yearly pass; parking is limited. Packet pickup takes place the morning of the race. Bibs, shirts and late registration follow a tiered fee structure that changes by registration date for each distance.

Awards include medals and prizes for overall top three male and female finishers in each race, plus medals for the top three male and female finishers in each age group.
