Red Top Roaster Trail Run

The Red Top Roaster takes place at Red Top Mountain State Park in Cartersville, Georgia. The course begins in an open field behind the park lodge parking lot before transitioning into the wooded trail system. Located along the shoreline of Lake Allatoona, the venue features a scenic backdrop for participants throughout the event.

The terrain consists of a variety of surfaces, including rolling hills, steep sections, single track, and double track paths. The running surface is described as forgiving with minimal roots and rocks, making the trails easy to navigate. The race route utilizes a network of established trails within the park, including the Sweet Gum Trail, Homestead Trail, Campground Trail, Iron Hill Trail, and the Visitor Center Loop Trail.

Participants can choose from two distinct distances:

  • 3.1 Miles
  • 8.85 Miles

Registration includes several amenities for all participants. Each runner receives a tri-blend t-shirt and access to a chip-timed course. The routes are professionally marked to ensure clear navigation. Medals are awarded to the top three finishers in each age category. Packet pickup is held on the morning of the race at the event site. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
