Event

Pumpkin Butt is a running event in Kennesaw, GA with a distance of 50K. The run is open and free to GUTS members only; GUTS membership is available on Ultrasignup. Due to permit limitations the event is classified as a run and it is not official.

Course and logistics

The course is the same as 2024: five loops of about 10K each. An aid station is located at the start/finish area and is available once per loop. Parking is limited. The event is cupless; each entrant will receive a reusable cup.

Each runner must bring one pumpkin (no gourds). Runners may be asked to carry a pumpkin; pumpkins are drawn at random and any runner who returns their pumpkin unharmed receives a special prize. Runners must complete at least two loops before carrying a pumpkin. The organizers will collect canned goods to donate to a local food bank. Awards are given to the top three finishers and the DFL; there may be pie for the winners. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
