Brandon English 5K -ish Trail Run
The Brandon English 5K -ish Trail Run is the third annual community trail event hosted by Building Fires on September 5, 2026 at Boling Park in Canton, Georgia (1200 Marietta Hwy, 30114). The main course is a flat, scenic trail of approximately 5 kilometers that runs through the trees along the river in Boling Park. The event includes a separate kids one mile fun run.
Onsite features include live music by local artists, food trucks offering community BBQ and Kona Ice, a bounce house and inflatables, and a Cherokee County fire truck available for children to touch and explore. Race amenities stated by the organizer include a race bib for all runners and a 2026 soft-style race day shirt in unisex adult and youth sizes; shirts are not guaranteed for registrations submitted after September 1, 2026. Unique race medals will be awarded to overall first through third place finishers for male and female categories in the 5K and to the top three finishers in the kids fun run.
