The Dirty Spokes Iron Hill trail running event takes place at Red Top Mountain State Park in Cartersville, Georgia. Course Information

Logistics and Awards

Registration and packet pickup are located at the Iron Hill Trail parking lot. A parking fee is required by Georgia State Parks for each vehicle entering the site. Participants receive a tri-blend shirt, though availability is not guaranteed for those registering late or on the day of the event.

Awards are presented to the top three finishers in several age categories, ranging from under 14 to over 80. Specific recognition is also given to winners in the Masters, Grandmasters, and Senior Grandmasters categories for both male and female runners. A multi-distance ultra on the Silver Comet Trail in Smyrna, GA, with 100 mile, 50 mile, 24 hour and shorter timed options. The flat out and back asphalt and grass course has aid stations, timing mats, and proceeds benefit homeless services.

Experience a scenic trail run along the Lake Allatoona shoreline at Red Top Mountain State Park. Choose between 3.1 or 8.85 mile courses featuring a mix of rolling hills and wooded single track paths.
