The course combines the lollipop loops of the Blue Jacket and Little Turtle nature trails. Trail segments in the park include the 1.3 mile Blue Jacket trail, the 2.0 mile Little Turtle trail, and the 1.4 mile Miami Fort trail. The race route is approximately 3.44 miles / 5.54 km and follows park trails that overlook the Ohio River and Great Miami River valleys.
