Dirt Cheap Stage Race

Dirt Cheap Stage Race is a three-day trail running stage race held 11/13/2026 to 11/15/2026 at Mendon Ponds Park in Mendon, NY. The event consists of three separate trail races run over consecutive days.

Distances included:

• 3 miles Pond Road Time Trial. Rolling start; headlamps required if racing in the dark.
• 5.5 miles Devils Bathtub trail. Rolling start with a stair climb finish.
• 11 miles Stage through much of Mendon Ponds Park trail system. Starts at Stewart Lodge.

Registration opens 4/15/2026 and closes 8/6/2026. Fees are listed per stage and for the full series; a participant cap may be implemented at any time. Early start may be available on Sunday based on results and race director discretion.

Parking is restricted to designated lots on each day: Friday locations include the Horse Trailer Parking Lot (corner of Pond Rd and Douglas Rd) and several shelters; Saturday uses Devil's Bathtub and Algonkian Shelter; Sunday uses the Beach Lot. No roadside parking will be permitted.

The event includes timing and post-race food after each stage. A custom mug is provided to the first 200 registrants. A hoodie is provided to all finishers who complete all three stages; hoodie sizing is guaranteed only if registered by 10/25/26. Dates, locations, distances, or formats may be changed, switched to virtual, or canceled; refunds, transfers, or deferrals are not allowed unless otherwise stated.
