This event on 7 May 2026 is a fell style run of 7 miles with about 1100 ft of ascent. It starts from the Barrier at the bottom of the track to White Wells in Ilkley and requires competitors to reach and touch the gate by Dick Hudsons Pub on the opposite side of the moor, then return to the finish by the Barrier.
Competitors may choose their own route. Options described include following the main paved path and ascending the rocky steps, or heading directly up the bracken covered hillside. Once on the moor, the Dales Way Link Path passes the Twelve Apostles stone circle near the summit and then leads down toward the gate at Dick Hudsons. On the return, runners follow the track that serves White Wells back to the Barrier finish. A suggested map is provided, but multiple paths exist especially at the start and finish.
