Event Overview

The Devauden Races is an annual, entirely off-road running event. It starts and finishes at The Hood Memorial Hall in Devauden, located on the northern edge of Chepstow Park Woods. The event is a charity fundraiser for the Severn Area Rescue Association (SARA), a local organization that provides search and rescue support for emergency services.

Distances and Courses

The races are run on the trails of Chepstow Park Woods. There are four distances available:

  • A 10 km race for participants aged 15 and over.
  • A 5 km race for participants aged 15 and over.
  • A 2.4 km race for participants aged 8 and over.
  • A 60 m junior dash for children aged between 3 and 10. Entry for this dash is free, with a small donation requested on the day.
