Desert Runner Trail Series - Spring Pass

The Desert Runner Trail Series Spring Pass is a set of trail and road races organized by Aravaipa Running. The series includes events on multiple dates in early 2027, beginning with San Tan Scramble on January 9, and continuing with events on February 6, March 13, and April 4. Locations include Queen Creek, AZ, among other course sites used across the series.

The series is divided into four distance categories with a sequence of events over the four dates:

  • Hummingbird (Mini): 5 km, 6 km, 8 km, 4 miles
  • Quail (Short): 9 km, 12 km, 1/2 marathon, 4 miles
  • Roadrunner (Middle): 17 km, 22 km, 1/2 marathon, 13 km
  • Owl (Trail): 26 km, 35 km, 30 km, 26 km

Events in the series are cupless to reduce race footprint. UltrAspire reusable cups are available at registration and on race day, and participants may bring their own cups. Six night trail races in Maricopa County parks April to September, with distances from 5 to 75 kilometers, series passes offering a 20 percent discount and points-based awards.

A monthly Friday evening 5K series at Arizona Falls with live chip timing, three collectible desert-themed medals, and a virtual option. The events raise funds for Child Crisis Arizona.

A free community run at Piestewa Peak where participants climb the summit repeatedly during a six hour window. On-course refreshments, giveaways, and Everyday Ultra coaches run alongside participants.

An evening 5K series at Arizona Falls with three monthly races that support Child Crisis Arizona. Live events are chip timed with age group awards and raffle prizes, plus a virtual option with collectible medals.
