Dean Martin Hometown Festival: Dino Dash 5k Trail Run / Walk

The Dino Dash is a community trail event on June 20, 2026 in Historic Beatty Park, Steubenville, Ohio. It is hosted by The Dean Martin Association, Steubenville Parks and Recreation, and the Jefferson County General Health District, with support from The Friends of Beatty Park. The event takes place on the park's Purple and Red nature trails and on a short loop in the adjacent historical Union Cemetery.

The course uses dirt trails through wooded areas and features small bridges, a creek crossing, a few small natural obstacles, and some uphill sections. Race and walk entries have a registration fee of $25.00; the Tot Trot for ages 3 to 6 is free; a Race Shirt Only option is available for $15.00. Registration opens January 7, 2026. Standard registration for the main events closes June 19, 2026 and the Race Shirt Only option closes June 8, 2026. The last day to register and guarantee a t-shirt is May 31.

Awards are given to the top finisher in each age group for both the run and the walk. Age groups are 19U, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, and 60 plus. Tot Trot participants receive a medal. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.

Free group training runs that preview the Hell Hath No Hurry course. A guided first loop with no timing or awards and a roughly 10K singletrack loop at Settlers Cabin Park with minimal support.
