Hell Hath No Hurry - Race overview

Hell Hath No Hurry is a looped trail race held on June 27, 2026, at Settlers Cabin Park with a start and finish at the Cayuga Shelter. The event is organized as a full day of trail running and walking around a marked 10K loop, with multiple race options and loop counts based on the chosen distance.

The course runs primarily on single track with natural terrain features such as hills, roots, and mud. There are minimal road crossings and the direction of travel may change during the event. Runners are expected to follow course blazes.

Distances and loop counts:

  • 10K - 1 loop
  • 30K - 3 loops
  • 50K - 5 loops
  • 50 Mile - 8 loops
  • 50 Mile Relay - team option
  • Double Damnation Challenge - combined 10K and 30K
  • Double Damnation Challenge Plus - combined 10K and 50K

Aid is provided at the main start/finish aid station and at a halfway station. Typical items include water, electrolyte drink, trail snacks and sandwiches; gels are not guaranteed. Certain distances may use personal aid at the start/finish or vehicle access during each lap.

A post race cookout will serve picnic foods and cold beverages including beer for those 21 and over. Awards include top Male and Female finishers by distance, technical running socks for registrants, and handcrafted finisher awards for those who complete their registered distance.

General rules require respect for park users, no littering, adherence to race rules, and exiting the park by sunset. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
