The Dartmoor Discovery Ultra Marathon, organised by Teignbridge Trotters Running Club, is a single-lap road ultra held at Princetown Community Centre, PL20 6RF on 6 June 2026. The course distance is 32 miles and includes significant hill sections across Dartmoor. The race has a course accuracy certificate and an Association of Running Clubs permit No. ARC/26/0077. Entrants are limited to 275 runners and the race has a 6 3/4 hour cut off. Personal drinks can be left at nine of the ten drink stations. The event is open to entrants aged between 20 and 99 on the race date.

Entry, prizes and facilities

Entry fees vary by booking period, ranging from £40/£42 (affiliated/unaffiliated) in the early bird window up to £60/£62 before the event, with higher on-the-day prices if places remain. Prize payments include £200 for a new male or female course record and £25 for any new veteran category course record. Awards cover overall male and female placings, veteran and female age categories, newcomer winners, and team prizes. Finishers receive a bespoke medal and a technical t-shirt. On-site provisions include food at the finish, bag storage, a PA system, free race photos, a bar and an after-race disco. Accommodation options listed include motorhome pitches at Princetown Community Centre (£10 per night) and camping, motorhome pitches and a bunkhouse at The Plume of Feathers with a special rate of £10 per person per night.
